A favorite run in central Beijing, and a good alternative to the crowds in the Forbidden City area. Temple of Heaven Park features grand plazas and impressive buildings, plus some forested sections. Longtan Lake Park has 4 km of scenic lakefront paths.
In the Dongcheng district between the Second and Third Ring Roads, Ditan Park has 2-3 km of paths among towering trees and classic Beijing-style red-walled buildings. Combine with the 2 km of lakeside paths of Liuyin Park, just to the west.
Worth it spot for a longer off-road run! Dayunhe Forest Park is located 15 km east of Beijing and features 15+ km of scenic paths on the east & west sides of the Beiyunhe River. Waterside & wooded sections & numerous scenic spots.
Large nature preserve is a great running option in the Prague 6 residential area and near Václav Havel Airport. Many km of trails -- a combination of easier, paved walking trails in the valley to some hillier, more rugged terrain.
There's an extensive series of large parks south of Prague, offering some nice running on mainly wooded trails. These include Kunratický les Park, Nature Park Hostivař-Záběhlice, Přírodní park Botič - Milíčov, & Přírodní park Meandry Botiče.
Run on this paved greenway through the heart of Buckhead, connecting neighborhoods, office and retail locations. 3.8 miles of the planned 5.2 miles is complete, from Lindbergh Dr. to Wieuca Rd., with an 0.5 mile road connection.
Some nice running in south San Diego near the Mexico border. Enjoy miles of trails around wetlands in the Tijuana Slough/River estuary area. There's also some good beach running in the area.
