Sweetwater Preserve

The Sweetwater Preserve is an 894-acre sanctuary located in the foothills of the Tucson Mountains. This trail running spot is a great way to experience some of the flora and fauna of the Sonoran Desert. The Preserve is located 10 miles northwest of downtown, adjacent to Saguaro National Park’s Tucson Mountain District and Tucson Mountain Park. Note: No facilities.

There are 14 miles of trails in Sweetwater Preserve, ranging from easier to more challenging.
