Features:
In the eastern part of Turku, the Varissuo residential neighborhood features an extensive network of wooded trails through parks and a nature preserve. There are athletic facilities, and a designated ‘fitness track’. Note that there are sections where the trails are more rugged & hilly, with some rocky areas.
Though it’s hard to map a specific route as many of the trails & smaller roads aren’t named, one can easily do 6-7 km in this area. We’ve mapped a 4 km loop to use as a guideline, but there are additional trails (some resulting in dead ends). Generally, the trails are east of Jahnvägen & north of Littoisvägen.

- One of the two parking areas: Suokatu 24 or Huhtakuja 3.
- Parking: At the end of Suokatu, Suokatu 24. At the beginning of Huhtakuja, the nearest street address is Huhtakuja 3
