The Fiemme Valley is a popular ski destination in winter and hiking area in summer. Tesero is the site of nordic skiing for the 2026 Winter Olympics, and Predazzo is hosting the ski jumping competition.

The area is a fantastic hiking and trail destination during the non-winter months. The one ‘easy’, relatively flat run is a cycle path (Ciclabile Valli di Fiemme e Fassa) that runs near or along the Torrente Avisio (stream) for 19 km between Predazzo and Molina di Fiemme, passing through Tesero. The path is mostly paved, running along the water in some sections and a bit away from it in others. The path features a nice mix of alpine scenery.

Start in any of the towns along the path, which runs on near the south bank of the stream, opposite the Strada 232 road. There are a couple of short on-road sections. In Tesero, the path passes by the Tesero Cross-Country Skiing Stadium, which will play host to Olympic nordic events. Enjoy the mix of alpine scene and eco-forests. The west end is ~7 km west of Tesero, in Molina di Fiemme. There’s a parking lot just across Str. 31.
