Xi’an Expo Park (Xi An Shi Bo Yuan), located along the Bahe River in the Baqiao Distrct, is a nice spot for a bucolic run in Xi’an. The park can be a separate running route, with a loop of ~5-6 km possible, or combined with the Bahe River paths. 2 km of which are through the park. There’s also a marked 1.8 km jogging route.

There are paths around a nice variety of scenery including gardens, lakes, and forests (the park was the site of the 2011 Horticultural Expo). Many of the paths are very wide and open, but there are also some more forested areas with narrower paths and stairs. One can get some hill work in here! There’s also an Exhibition Center, and the scenic Dongmei Bridge leading to paths around the Chang’an Tower.

Add-Ons: Bahe River paths.
