Fez doesn’t have many large parks, but those looking for a green space to run will undoubtedly enjoy the Parc Champ de Course, located near Chaaban in north-central Fez. This beautiful park includes palm trees, fountains, and a number of great runnable pathways. Runners can piece together a loop of about 1 km around the perimeter, or add on more interior paths. For a longer run, head south on the Avenue Allal Ben Abdellah to Jardin de Nouveau Méchouar and add on a peaceful 1.25 km circuit around the gardens. The Avenue Hassan II median is also nearby.

Other Routes in Fez, Morocco
Run the streets of Fez’s pedestrian friendly medina (Fes El Bali) on our 8 km ‘runseeing’ tour. Highlights include the city walls, gardens, and leather tanneries.
Some of the best running in Fez is located in the Forêt d'ain Chkef, a shaded forest located just south of the city center. Here, runners can find over 5k of smooth gravel and dirt pathways.
One of the better options for a road run is the N6 highway between Fez and Meknes. Our favorite section is the wide sidewalk between Agdal and the Université Euro-Méditerranéenne de Fez, nearly 6 km.
The Avenue Hassan II mixes the best of road running and park running together with a lovely median that spans ~2 km down the street.
This moderate trail run departs from the bustling streets of Fez and heads through farmland to great views of the city below. We’ve mapped a 7 km (one way) course.
