Just north of Rehoboth Beach, in Lewes, runners can hop on the Georgetown-Lewes Trail. The paved multi-use path runs for 7.6 miles between Gills Neck Road in Lewes and Fisher Rd. in Milton. There are plans for a total of 17 miles along the Delaware Coast Line railroad bed. Shady trees, farm and marsh views dominate this flat path heading towards Georgetown.
Runners can do part of this trail in conjunction with trails in Cape Henlopen State Park.
