There are well-marked, safe and beautiful running and walking trails. Starting at the restaurant/swimming pool areas, there are three trail options: Green trail is 2.5 km, yellow trail is 5 km and red trail is 10 km. The terrain is fairly open, and there’s a good chance you’ll see wildlife such as giraffe, hartebeest, warthogs, & more.

Some 'runnable' options in central Lusaka just east of the CBD. Using Independence Ave. as an anchor, there are government buildings and embassies in the Cathedral Hill area, and some nice streets in the Ridgeway, & Woodlands neighborhoods.
Located in the northeast part of the city, this university campus is an oasis from Lusaka's busy roads and a good spot for a run. Enjoy running the safe paths around the academic buildings, on the paths and fields south of Sports Hall, and he area around Groma Lakes.
A decent spot for a run when there's not an event. Quiet roads within the stadium complex, some paths around the National Heroes Memorial, and OYDC Running Track -- the best running track in Lusaka!
A park located 30 km southeast of Lusaka and a destination for wildlife viewing. There are roads and some bicycle trails that are runnable, but not that much in the way of maps or way-marking.
