The campus of the University of Zambia is one of the better places to run in Lusaka. Located in the northeast part of the city, the campus is sort of an oasis from Lusaka’s busy roads.

There isn’t a dedicated route here. Rather, we suggest creating your own route consisting of three different ‘sections’ of the campus: the main campus area, where most of the major academic buildings are located; the sports fields just south of the Sports Hall, where there’s also a basic running track; and the area around Groma Lakes, where there are several paths including the ‘Great E’ path that runs for 1 km between the university and Great E road.
