Features:
Giovinazzo is a seaside town located 25 km north of Bari and considered part of the metropolitan city of Bari. There’s scenic waterfront running in Giovinazzo, along the 3.5 km stretch between the Toruccio seafood restaurant just south of Giovinazzo to the La Baia camping area north of town.
The route is on a combination waterfront path and roadside sidewalk that runs along the Lungomare Esocito Italiano and the Via Ruggiero Messere, continuing around the Lungomare Marina Italiano. There are great views of the Adriatic and the marina the whole way. You’ll run out to the Porto vecchio, and run out several piers featuring historic buildings.
Add-Ons: Take a jaunt around the historic center of Giovinazzo (centro storico), which features several large plazas.
