The cycle paths along the Meuse and Sambre rivers are among the best places to run in Namur. This route covers the Ravel 1 cycle (Velo) path along the Meuse River, headed east toward Andenne. It’s a paved path, generally right alongside the river, with nice views of the water and surrounding countryside. The n90 path parallels the n90 highway, but for most of the route the path is below the road along the river.

Starting from the historic center of Namur, use the Passerelle l’Enjambée pedestrian bridge to access the path on the south bank of the Meuse. From there, run as long as you like! We’ve mapped 18 km to Andenne. There are options to run one-way and take train back to Namur: stations are in Namêche (10 km), Sclaigneaux (14 km), and Andenne.

Add-On/Variations: The Sambre river path is also accessible from the center of Namur. You can mix & match these routes!
