Just off the central & historic section of Phnom Penh, there’s some reasonable running on Koh Pich Island and the Chroy Changvar Peninsula. There are some quieter streets, decent sidewalks, and a couple of nice waterfront sections. Run them separately, together, or as add-ons to our Riverside or ‘Runseeing’ routes.

Koh Pich Island. Accessed from the Twin Dragon Bridge or Swan Bridge. Wide streets and less traffic than the mainland. It’s ~4 km around the island, but it’s not a seamless road loop. A nicer section is ~1 km of waterfront path south of the Norea Bridge, plus paths in the small Treellion Park next to City Hall. Also some small waterfront sections on the north and east side. Nice to combine this with the 2.2 km Riverside Path.

Chroy Changvar Peninsula. Take the 10-minute ferry from the south end of the Riverside Path over to Chroy Changvar. The nicest section is at the southern end near the ferry, with ~1 km of waterside path/park. There are some other quiet roads on Chroy CHangvar, very much hit or miss from a running perspective. It’s also possible to access Chroy Changvar from the Chroy Changvar Bridge or Japanese Bridge (there’s a pedestrian path, but not pleasant).
