Colo-I-Suva Forest Park, located only 10 km north of Suva, is a good spot for a fairly easy trail run. It’s popular for its clear river, waterfalls (that are great for swimming!), rainforest, and bird watching. There’s a kiosk with map.

For running, there’s a main ‘walking track’ that leads to the waterfalls, known as the ‘Upper Pools’ and ‘Lower Pools’. It’s a 3-4 km loop. It’s a fairly easy trail — wide with good footing — and quite scenic lush rainforest. Make a swim part of your run!

Longer Option: You can also run on the main park road. It’s 2.6 km from Prices Rd. to the Lower Pools. Also, you can take the park road to the south access point off Railagi Rd., and explore the additional roads in the area. Note: no shoulder/sidewalk, but light traffic.
