The Bodu River Canal winds its way through much of Wuxi. There are several sections where there are runnable paths along the canal. One of the best and most improved sections is in Bodu River Park, located in the Xinwu District (also referred to as the Wuxi New District). Overall, there are about 20 km of paths along the canal. The ~3 km stretch anchored by Bodu River Park is recently improved and is especially nice.
Bodu River Park is located near the intersection of Xinming North Rd & Xixing Rd. Enjoy the canal paths and nice views. This section is ~3 km, but the less improved paths go for many more km. The landscape is a mix — some nice green space and also industrial sections. Notes: no good maps of the paths exist. Also, keep an eye out for motorbikes!
