One of the most pleasant runs in Pamplona is the 4-5 km of paths along the Arga River. The Arga runs just north of Pamplona’s historic center, and features lovely green spaces, waterfront parks, and paths along both banks. The path is called P. Kosterapea, in sections.  [Puente=Bridge]

Our mapped route goes for 4.5 km between Av. Navarra and the Puente Aranzadi. It’s nearly all off road, quite green, and featuring some nice views of the river. From Av. Navarra, run for 0.7 km along the north side, cross the pedestrian bridge to the south side, and at 1.3km take the historic Puente de Santa Engracia back over. An especially nice section is through the Parque de Aranzadi nature preserve. From there, riverside paths continue until the Puente Aranzadi, a pedestrian bridge.

Add-Ons: Additional paths in the parks lining the river. Can also combine with our Pamplona ‘Runseeing‘ route.
