Features:
This won’t rank as the most scenic run ever, but Congress St. south of the bridge is increasingly a fun and hip scene. It’s a wide road with good sidewalks and lots of cars. But about 1/2 mile south of the bridge, there are lots of fun shops, restaurants, bars, and other eclectic spots to keep you entertained on your run. It’s also food truck central. For the return, options are to retrace your steps, or do a 1/2 mile through the park and W. Bouldin Creek Greenbelt Trail.
Add-On-Variety: The residential side streets east of S. Congress are pleasant for running. Leafy, quiet, with pretty homes.
