Lasalle Park

Located at the junction of Lake Erie and the mouth of the Niagara River, LaSalle Park is the largest waterfront park in all of Buffalo. Offering several sports fields, paved pathways, open meadows, and an off-leash dog area, LaSalle Park is extremely popular among walkers, runners, and bicyclists.  The 1.7 mile one-way path runs parallel to the waterfront, the breakwall, Buffalo Harbor, and the  historic Colonel Francis G. Ward Pumping station. Lasalle Park is part of the larger Riverwalk system. The path is 1.7 miles one-way, or 3.4 miles round trip.

Longer Run: Head south to the Erie Basin Marina, or north about 1.5 miles north to Bird Island Pier.
