Cape May, NJ

Cold Spring Bike Path

The Cold Spring Bike Path is an inland, 2.75 mile paved route which spans from Seashore Road in Erma to Sandman Boulevard in Cape May. It’s a good centralized route running down the middle of Cape May, and while it’s not exactly secluded, it is nicely tree-lined. A good shade option on a hot day.

A favorite day trip for visiting runners is to start out on the north end of the path and finish off at the Cape May Winery for a tour and a tasting. To get there, follow the path to the intersection with Sandman Boulevard and take a right. Then, take another right up Shunpike Road. The winery is situated at the corner of Shunpike and Town Bank Road. As a one way trip, it’s about 3.6 miles.
