Chongqing Central Park (Zhongyang Park) is one of the largest urban public parks in China, and is a great place for a run. Located in the Yubei District, not far from Jiangbei International Airport, the 1.53 km² park is also a major gathering space, with a large Central Square at the northern end capable of holding 100,000 people. Overall, the park is 2.7 km long and 1 km wide.

For running, there are several options. There’s a a 7 km colorful footpath that can be followed, and it’s popular for running. You can also create your own route. The southern half of the park (south of Langui Blvd.) is more natural, with terrain including grassland, forests, hills, and freshwater ponds.

Add-Ons: There are two running tracks in the area of the Yubei National Fitness Center, ~0.5 km west from the park off Langui Blvd.
