Start in the center at Cromwell’s  Bridge, and run for 0.75 km along Market St., with its colorful houses, passing the Kenmare Stone Circle — a popular site on the Ring of Kerry tour. Return to the center, and then take the sidewalk along the N71 south for 1 km to Kenmare Pier, which nice views of Kenmare Bay. Double back to the N71, and then go south again to run over the Kenmare Bridge, enjoying some nice water views. Retrace your steps. At the ~4 km mark, there’s an entrance to the Reenagross Woodland, which has 3 km of lovely wooded trails along the Roughty River with beautiful views out across the Kenmare Bay, and the famous rhododendron tunnel trail, with its carpets of purple flower petals when in full bloom (April-May). Enjoy some of these trails, and then return to the center of Kenmare, ending at Fair Green.
