Freiburger Rieselfeld is a wildlife refuge located on a former industrial site that has been ‘rewilded’. It’s a great spot in Freiburg for a flat run on quiet paths through open, farm-like terrain. It’s ~5 km west of the city centre.
We recommend creating your own route on the series of mainly dirt paths. It’s ~2 km east-west to the #5 highway, and ~3 km north-south between Mundenhof and Opfinger Str.
