How about some scenic, forested trail running only a couple of miles from downtown Iowa City? Hickory Hill Park is a 185-acre park just northeast of downtown featuring several miles of mainly forested walking trails. The surface is a combination of limestone, wood chip, & dirt. The landscape is mainly wooded, with some open areas. The park has facilities.
