Waterworks Prairie Park, located in the northern part of Iowa City, is a pleasant spot for a run. The park features 3 miles of trails around ponds & prairies.
For a longer run, combine with the Iowa River Trail, which runs through Waterworks Prairie Park. Heading north on the trail alongside Dubuque St. NE will take you to the World’s Largest Nickel, and heading south on the trail is in the direction of City Park and downtown Iowa City.
