This run, in interior Kowloon, combines several small but scenic city parks: Kowloon Tsai Park, Kowloon Walled City Park, Morse Park, and a couple of parks in Lok Fu. Each has shaded paths & lush vegetation. There are also some hills and stairs, which some runners might covet after all the flat waterfront routes! This route is also a great idea on a hot day, as there is some shade. Our route map is a guideline — you can create your own route selecting the paths and how many of the parks you want to do!  Bonus: two running tracks!

Start in Kowloon Tsai Park, a botanical garden on 28 acres with paths passing floral displays & orchid trees. There’s also a running track and a paved path around its perimeter. Then, head east on Dumbarton Rd. to connect to Carpenter Road Park, which has some designated jogging paths, and the adjacent Kowloon Walled City Park, which was established in 1995 and features paths passing Jiangnan style gardens. Head north Tung Tau Tsuen Rd. to Morse Park. Here, you can do ~2 miles combining this park’s four ‘sections’. There are tree-lined paths, skyscrapers all around, tennis courts, and a public swimming pool. Then head back through the small, hilly Lok Fu Recreation Ground. Use Junction Rd. to return to Kowloon Tsai Park. Not scenic but an easy connector w/sidewalk [Option; Off Junction Rd., take a jaunt into Lok Fu Park for hillside paths and great skyscraper views, and Junction Road Park, which also features a running track!]
