Bentonville is one of those cities that punches above its 50,000 population weight. As the birthplace and world HQ of Walmart, Bentonville attracts a good number of business travelers orbiting around the retail giant. The city has become somewhat of an outdoor mecca, with a nice network of multi-use paths, as well as more rugged trails.
The centerpiece of running in Bentonville is the Crystal Bridges Museum, which in addition to its unique building and major art collection, has a nice network of trails on its 120-acre grounds. From there, connect to the paved N Bentonville multi-use path, or paths headed east to Orchards Park & Memorial Park. Other great places to run in Bentonville are trails that loop around Bella Vista Lake and Lake Atalanta. Trail runners will love Hobbs State Park, located 20 miles southeast of Bentonville.
