Bella Vista Lake Loop

Creative Commons: brandonrush

The paved multi-use path around Bella Vista Lake is a great spot for a run. The lake is part of Bella Vista Lake Park, located 5 miles north of downtown Bentonville. The Lake Bella Vista Trail is a 1.7-mile loop around the lake. The paths are not right along the water, so there are intermittent lake views. To make this a longer run, add ~1 mile headed south along the Wishing Springs Trail, making for a 3.4-mile fairly flat run.

Add-On: Just north of Bella Vista is Blowing Springs Park, which features many miles of more rugged trails. It’s possible to run on them but they’re also very popular for mountain biking.

Essentials
  • 3.4 miles (5.5 km)
  • 56 feet (17m)
  • Park entrance off Veterans Parkway
  • Parking lot off Veterans Parkway
