Texas Tech University Campus Paths

Picryl

Texas Tech University, located just west of downtown, is a large public research university. It’s a good spot for a run, as it features a large network of pedestrian paths, attractive buildings, Urbanovsky City Park, and a running track.

Create Your Own Route. You can put together your own route, enjoying the many paths. Be sure to include the Boston Ave. to Memorial Circle section at the heart of campus, then east along the Amon Carter Plaza. Just west of Memorial Circle is Fuller Track, which is a gem for running.

Mapped Courses. The Rec Department has put together several mapped loops, ranging from 1 to 4 miles, including a popular 5k route used for races, triathlons and recreational running.
