Martinique

Diamant Beach

IHA

Grande Anse du Diamant. Beaches on Martinique tend to be more secluded coves than wide expanses. The beach along Diamant Bay (Grande Anse du Diamant), is the exception to the rule, with about 3.5 km (one-way) of nice sand running. Especially at low tide, the beach here is relatively flat and firm, with little incline. Start in the west near Memorial Park and run to La Chery, or reverse it. TIDE TABLE

Add-On: There are some quieter roads and paths just north of the D37 road along the beach that make for good running (and hilly!).
