Toward the western end of the Trent River trails, there’s wonderful running on trails around the Attenborough Nature Reserve. These trails, which feature great water views and wildlife viewing, wind around the River Trent and a series of canals and adjacent lagoons. A loop is 4.4 miles.
Longer Run: Head east on the River Trent trails (south bank) toward Nottingham.
