Stony Swamp

Stony Swamp, located 15 km south of Ottawa between Nepean and Kanata, features a network of beaver ponds, wetlands and forests, and is the most ecologically diverse protected area in the Ottawa Valley. There are 40 km of trails. It’s a mix of nature trails, cycling trails, and trails that are easy-to-moderate trail running. Popular picks are the Quarry Trail, the Jack Pine Trail (NCC 26), and the Lime Kiln Trail (NCC 25).

The trails of Stony Swamp connect to other Greenbelt Trails and the Trans Canada Trail.
