Enjoy a run along Poznań’s largest lake! Kiekrz Lake is 12 km northwest of Poznań (only 9 minutes by train!). A paved multi-use path, Nad Jeziorem, runs alongside the lake for nearly 4 km. The path is mainly wooded, with some lake views. We’ve mapped the route headed south, starting from near the Kiekrz train station. Follow the path to the south end of the lake.
Longer Run: The Kiekrz Lake path can connect to the trail on the west side of the train tracks that heads south toward Poznań. It’s 2 km to Strzeszynek Lake and 7 km to the north end of Rusałka Lake. You can continue still further to the path through Sołacki Park, to the center of Poznań.
