Puerto Vallarta, Mexico

Anador Fluvial Linear Park & Zona Hotelera

Google Street View

In the Zona Hotelera area, there’s some nice running along the Anador Fluvial Linear Park and some of the area’s roads.

The Anador Fluvial Linear Park is a popular off-road running option in Puerto Vallarta. This path runs along the Pitillal River for 3 km. It’s about half paved and half dirt. There are some nicely shaded sections and occasional views of the narrow, fairly dry river. The east end starts at Av. Francisco Villa. Head west toward the sea, along the south side of the river, ending at Playa Del Holi.

For more, there are some roads in this more recently developed part of Puerto Vallarta that are decent for running. Avenue Jesus Rodríguez Barba and Avenue Fluvial Vallarta feature good sidewalks and open green spaces surrounding the streets.

Add-On: The beach is OK, but not great for running. Some firm sand can be found right along the water.
