Marina Vallarta & Golf Course Route

In the Marina Vallarta area, one can put together a nice 7-8 km run combining paths along the marina, and pleasant, palm-lined roads around the Marina Vallarta Golf Club. The Marina Vallarta is a modern, planned community with upscale hotels and a large marina.

Start anywhere along the marina. There’s not a full loop, but a run on its main paths is 1 km. There are nice views of the water and lots of fancy boats!  Then, from the west side of the marina, take one of the small roads to Av. Paseo de la Marina Sur. It’s 2 km along this wide, palm-lined road, which features a decent sidewalk and nice landscaping, with views of the golf course. At the northern end, continue on C. Albatros/C. Pelicanos, around the perimeter of the golf course. It’s green and pleasant.

Add-Ons: Additional 1-2 km of streets in the golf course/hotel area. You can also head down to the beach, though the sand there tends to be more grainy and not great for running.
