Jack’s Point Track (Jardine Park to Jack’s Point)

Courtesy: Queenstowntrail.com

With magnificent views of the majestic mountains and a stunning lake, this is a moderate to challenging trail run.  Called Jack’s Point Track, the trail starts at Jardine Park, and 10.3 km one-way to Jack’s Point, climbing 234 meters (770 feet). Jack’s Point is a 3,000 acre settlement with a scenic golf course, restaurant and resort village. There are superb lake and mountain views over undulating open grassland and scattered scrub. If you start at Jack’s Point Clubhouse, the trail is more of a down hill.

A good reward is a long lunch and transport back to Queenstown! Bus Line 4 serves Jack’s Point.
