This long, narrow linear park along the Nahdah Road in east Riyadh (Jarir District) offers some of the better long distance running in the city (long by Riyadh standards, anyway). The median garden features a brick-paved pathway, continuing from Makkah Al Mukarramah Road in the north to Salah Ad Din Al Ayyubi Road in the south. There are two loops within the park which can be combined for a “figure 8” route of just over 7 km. Keep in mind that there is a semi-busy street crossing at Umar Ibn Abdul Aziz Road, so if you wish to avoid that, stick to either the north or the south loop of the park.
