Sur Regional Park

Parque Alem. Google Street View

In the southeastern part of Rosario, Sur Regional Park is a decent spot for some off-road running. The park is located on the Saladillo River, which leads into the Paraná. There are 2-3 km of pleasantly shaded trails, with a nice tree canopy. There are also trails that run along the river. Note these are dirt trails and can get muddy. There are some attractive waterfalls at the western end of the park, near the bridge.

Longer Run Options: It’s possible to run over the Molino Blanco Bridge, for some nice views of the river and falls. There’s a narrow sidewalk. Then, continue along Juan Pablo II — a quiet road with some nice trees — for ~ 1 km.

Essentials
  • 2-3 km of trails in the park, with more possible over bridge and along Juan Pablo II
  • Flat
  • Park access off Cenenario Rd.
