Santa Cruz, CA

Seacliff State Beach & More

Located 8 miles south of Santa Cruz, Seacliff State Beach is a great place to get in a classic California beach run. There are a few options here. A beach side path runs for 1 mile north of Aptos Creek, and from Aptos Creek heading south along Beach Dr. for nearly a mile.

There is also excellent beach running here. The beaches are flat and feature firm sand near the water that’s great for running. It is nearly 12 continuous miles from New Brighton State Beach in the north to Sunset Beach in the south.

If you want to get your heart rate up, there’s a set of 150 stares across the road from the pier.
