Incheon International Airport is the main airport serving Seoul. As one of the largest and busiest airports in the world, it’s a destination itself. It’s located on Yeongjongdo Island, which is connected to the mainland by 2 bridges. In addition to the airport, the island features villages and a beach. There’s a large number of hotels on the island for those who want to stay near the airport. While the main road around Yeongjongdo is a busy highway, there are some good places to run near the airport.
Masian Beach: Good beach for running. Located on the western side of the island. It’s 2.2 km long, and features great water views. Can be part of the road/bridge to Muui-dong, below.

Bridge to Muui-dong. At the southern end of the island, there’s a dramatic road/bridge that leads to the island of Muui-dong. There’s not a lot of cars here, so this road is popular with pedestrians. The first part is the scenic Jamjindo road that crosses Jamjindo. Then, take the bridge to Muui-dong, which features a separated pedestrian path. There are two ~35m hills that are part of this route. At the north end of Muui-dong, there’s also the scenic North End Pedestrian Causeway from Silmi Beachm which spans ~0.5 km. Add with Masian Beach (above).
Trail Running. At the northern end of Yeongjong use the World Peace Forest Pedestrian Bridge to access trails to Mt. Baeglyeonsan. The trails are rugged & hilly. At the southern end of Muui-domg, run to Somuuido Island on the scenic 0.5 km Somuui Footbridge. On Somuuido, there’s trail running on some rugged trails (Mueui Bada Trails).

In the central part of Incheon, replete with big skyscrapers and major businesses, it's possible to stitch together an off-road run of nearly 8 km, along shaded paths passing through a series of narrow parks.
Pleasant park for running In the Sungui-Dong section of Incheon. Nice tree canopy and shaded, hilly paths. The park is ~1.2 km long and 0.5 km wide. Nice hilltop views!
A terrific run through several parks with nicely landscaped paths. There's a 3 km riverfront section, and the highly planned Central Park with paths through meadows and along a manmade lake.
Great park for running on Wolmi Island, located near Incheon's central train station. There are 4-5 km of rolling hill paths, combination of open & forested terrain. Includes some nice climbs to scenic viewpoints. Freedom Park a nice add-on.
Excellent option in Incheon for a long off-road run. Paved multi-use paths line both banks of the canal for nearly 16 km east to Gochon. There are water views, parks, and attractions.
The best options for running in Bucheon, which is located between Seoul and Incheon, are Sangdong Lake Park, the Gulpocheon Bicycle Path, and trail running around Bucheon Eco Park & Bucheon Wonmi Park.
