Wolmi Park, located on Wolmi Island near Incheon’s central train station, is a scenic spot for running. The park features ~5 km of paths, around a combination of open and shaded terrain. This is a hilly run, but the reward is great views of the city, the Han River, and the Yellow Sea. Within the park, there are several viewpoints, historical landmarks at its northeast end, and the Museum of Korea Emigration History. Just outside the park, Wolmi Island features a theme park, Lighthouse, and the Incheon National Maritime Museum.

We’ve mapped a route of the park featuring its main paths. A loop of the outer perimeter path is ~2.2 km. At the 1.6 km mark of this perimeter loop, there’s a 1 km out & back trail to a scenic viewpoint, climbing 50m. A loop around the ‘historic section’ at the northeast end of the park is 1 km.

Longer Run: Add Freedom Park. From the train station area/Chinatown, there are hilly streets & stairs leading the 0.5 km to Freedom Park. There are paved trails through this hilly park, scenic viewpoints, and a statue of Gen. MacArthur. The park is also known for its spring blossoms and fall foliage.
