Features:
For a route that explores central St. John without the busy main streets, this tour hits the residential part of downtown with it’s hilly streets, funky apartment buildings, and colorful cottages. Starting from downtown near The Rooms, hop on Lemarchant Road and head south until it merges with Hamilton Ave. Where Hamilton Ave turns into Hamilton Extension, bear LEFT onto Cornwall Ave. Continue south for a short while until it meets with Topsail Road. Take a LEFT and head north for a little over a mile. When you get to Leslie Street, take a LEFT to return to Lemarchant via Hamilton. As a loop, it’s about 7.6 km (4.7 miles).
Add-On: Combine with Downtown Tour of St. John’s main streets, for a longer, ~11 km run.
