Stratford to Long Marston Greenway

Creative Commons: Philip Halling

The Stratford to Long Marston Greenway is a popular traffic-free path in Stratford-Upon-Avon. The gravel path stretches for 5 miles from the bridge over the River Avon on Seven Meadows Road to Station Rd. in Long Marston. The Milcote picnic area (and car park) is at about the halfway point. It’s an attractive trail, passing through the heard of Stratford-Upon-Avon, some woods, and open meadows and farm fields.

Longer Run/Loop Option: At the 1-mile mark of the trail, where there’s a small footbridge over the River Avon, you can complete the out and back on the River Avon path, and/or add-on with that route. From the same point, there’s also a spur trail that goes to the Stratford On Avon Raceourse.
