In the western part of Tarragona, do some laps on the trails and track of the Anella Mediterrània. Th sprawling sports complex built for the 2018 Mediterranean Games features trails passing through park-like grounds and a small lake, a huge outdoor swimming pool, a velodrome, and an indoor sports center. There’s also a terrific running track.
A loop of the trails around the complex is ~2 km. They’re a mix of paved and gravel. Add on with some laps around the running track. To make this a longer run, the adjacent Carrer Riu Segre is a wide street with a pedestrian path along its median. A loop is ~1 km.
