This route explores the historic Elisabetin neighborhood of Timișoara, small parks, a running track & a loop around Stadionul Dan Păltinișanu popular with runners. Use our map as a guideline to create your own exploration of this area!
Start at Ştiința Stadium with a lap or more around the running track, then head west for an 0.5 km loop around Carmen Sylva Park. Head east on Str. Victor Babes for 0.8 km, then RIGHT on Str. Arieș for 0.7 km, to the 1 km loop path around Stadionul Dan Păltinișanu that’s popular with runners. Head south, across Blv. Rebreanu along Str. Aleea Sănătăţii into Parcul Lidia, a pleasant park with numerous paths. For a simplified return, north on C. Martiliror 1989, LEFT on Bl. Rebreanu, RIGHT on Str. Feldiora.
