Parku Helen, which is anchored by Farka Lake, is a nice running destination in the eastern part of Tirana. Located ~10 km east of the city centre, the park features hiking/walking paths and a more open landscape. Most of the paths are near or alongside the artificial Farka Lake. It’s possible to do a loop around the lake, which is nearly 7 km, though some sections of the path are more developed and others are more rugged or not well maintained.

A good access point/parking area is near the Golden Fish restaurant at the northeast part of the lake. Follow the main path along the lake. On the northwestern end, there’s a short on road section. The quality & condition of the path varies. It’s also gently rolling. There are some additional paths & small roads that can be run.
