Jubilee River Path

Creative Commons: Andrew Smith

While the Thames River path is among the signature running routes in Windsor, there are also lovely paths for running along the Jubilee River, which runs into the Thames at Eton College. A gravel path runs along the south side of the river for up to 5.5 miles west to Taplow Lake. It’s a flat, pastoral run, with nice water views a good part of the way. A good place to start is at Eton College, at the Thames Valley Athletics Center (which features a running track!). Key distances, headed west:

1.9 miles: History on Wheels Museum
3.6 miles: Dorney Wetlands
4.3 miles: M4 Highway
5.5 miles: Amerden Ln. (Taplow Lake, Wakeplus Water Park)

Add-Ons: Can easily combine with Thames River paths and our Eton College run.

  • Up to 5.5 miles (8.9 km) one-way
