Szczytnicki Park

A flat, tree-lined park just northeast of Wrocław center, Szczytnicki Park is one of the largest open green spaces in the city. The trails here form an extensive, spidering network, reaching into the Japanese Gardens and Wrocław Multimedia Fountain parks to the south. One can run for miles here, creating unlimited combinations of paved, dirt, and crushed stone paths. The terrain is a combination of wooded and open. A loop around the perimeter of the park adds up to about 5.7 km (3.5 miles) with lots of opportunities to extend the route on park paths and along the Stara Odra (canal) and Oder River.

Depending on the chosen route, Szczytnicki Park can be a fun mix of secluded forest running in the north of the park and the exciting hustle and bustle around the gardens and colorful fountain in the south of the park.
