Victory Park

Victory Park is one of Yerevan’s best parks for running. Located just north the Cascade Complex (but cut off from the historic centre by Saralanji St.), Victory Park features several memorials & monuments, a lake, and a scenic lookout at its eastern end. A great spot out the door from the Radisson Hotel!

For running, one can put together a route of ~3 km in the park, including ‘Lovers Alley’ path and lake loop. The best bet for some tempo practice is on the 0.5 km east-west paths that run to the Mother Armenia Monument & lookout. The park is fairly hilly.

Note: From a map, it looks like it would be great to combine Victory Park with our central Yerevan ‘runseeing’ tour, but access across Saralanji St. is not pedestrian-friendly.

Essentials
  • A loop of the walking paths is ~3 km
  • Some hills
  • Near the Radisson Hotel or off Gen. Babayan St.
  • Bus: Azatutyan Ave.
