Directly across Victoria Harbour from Central, there’s some wonderful waterfront running in Kowloon. In fact, the waterfront is more seamless for running on the Kowloon side than on Hong Kong Island. From the Star Ferry terminal, you can run for nearly 4 km from Tsim Sha Tsui east to Laugna Verde. There are great views and numerous attractions. Bonus: Lit at night — good option in hot weather!

Starting on the Kowloon Public pier is Canton railway clock tower, the Hong Kong Space Museum, the Hong Kong Museum of Art, and the Avenue of the Stars, a Promenade with handprints & plaques honoring Hong Kong film stars, plus a Bruce Lee statue. This turns into the Tsim Sha Tsui Promenade, which goes for about 1 mile and merges with the Hung Hom Promenade and the 5-star Kowloon Harbor Hotel. The path continues for another mile or so, passing the Tai Wan Shanpublic  swimming pool and ending at the Fisherman’s Wharf shopping mall along the Laguna Verde Promenade.

Add-Ons: Kowloon Park is 0.5 km north the ferry terminal. There are 1-2 km of shaded paths here, and some fun stairs to get the heart rate up.
