A good place to start is near the Malmö Castle, which sits at the edge of . Do a loop of the castle grounds and the Slottsträdgården, making your way over to Kungsparken, which is a small, English-style park with a pretty pond. Do the short tour of this park, then head west on the pedestrian path, connecting with the nondescript Gustaf Rydbergsgatan for ~1 km, over to the small but cute Rönneholmsparken. Head back east on one of the small streets, do to a loop of the larger Pildammsparken, which features lovely green spaces, water, paths, and picnic areas. A tour of this park is ~1 km, although there are color-coded paths with loops of various distances. For the return, you can run through the parks or along the wide Pildammsvägen, passing by St. John’s Church, Malmö opera, several small parks, and a shopping area.
Add-Ons: Add a fourth park to your tour, Folkets Park, which is 1 km east of Pildammsparken. You can also explore some of the streets of historic Malmö on your own, or head down to Ribersborg and run along the water.

A 12 km tour of some of Malmö's historical and architectural highlights, including some pretty waterfront sections. Includes the Hamnparken and Dockplan Marina, the Western Harbor, castle area, and Kungsgatan in the Rörsjöstaden neighborhood.
This interesting and diverse neighborhood, also known as Möllan, is fun to experience via running. Use the pretty Folkets Park as an anchor, explore some of the neighborhood's streets, and perhaps include Pildammsparken, just to the west.
One of the more popular recreational spots in Malmö and a great, centrally located spot for a run. A multi-use path runs parallel to the beach (though a bit inland from it) for 3.3 km. It's fun & scenic to run down the numerous piers as well.
A fun exploration of the Limhamn area of southern Malmö, the waterfront/marina area just west of the Ribersborgsstranden. This series of quiet roads and paths around marinas and out onto piers has water and bridge views.
A wonderful run on paths through Strandparken and other parks in the area of the Øresund Bridge. Great views of the Øresund Strait and the impressive bridge. Can be combined with our marina route in Limhamn.
Popular park about 9 km southeast of the center of Malmö. Numerous paths and open fields make for a pleasant run. One can put together a nearly 5 km loop. There are even some small hills -- a rarity in Malmö!
