Schodack Island State Park

Schodack Island State Park, located 10 miles south of Albany, is a good spot for some gentle path and trail running. The park borders the Hudson River, and has 3-4 miles of mainly wooded trails. There are some more rugged trails and a short paved bike trail. The longest trail is the 4.3 mile Orange Trail.

The park is also popular area for camping, canoeing, fishing, and bird watching.
